Hydrogen Ferry |
A hydrogen powered ferry is planned for Cardiff Bay the home of the National Assembly for Wales and the Wales Millennium Centre. The proposed vessel would operate within the categorised, sheltered waters of Cardiff Bay and whilst there are a few such vessels already operating in other countries, we believe this may be the first of its kind in the UK. The project has the backing of the Welsh Development Agency, a boat operator already operating on the Bay, a boat designer and builder and will involve a number of industry partners in hydrogen technologies.
